November Wrap-Up!

So, I thought I would start actually doing weekly posts, like I originally said I would. I strayed a bit, but hopefully, I can truly start posting a few times a week, and have a theme for days and such.
*fingers are crossed*
Anyways, I thought I would do a post at the end of every month (or beginning of the next) to announce the books I read during that certain month.
Starting with...NOVEMBER.
In the month of November, I read a total of 8 books, which is pretty good.

  • Nov. 1st to Nov. 4th: The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa. It is the sixth book in the Iron Fey Series, but the second book in the Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten Series
It was a bit slow at first, but by the action quickly started and I was hooked. I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars rating.
  • Nov. 5th to Nov. 10th: Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken. It is the second book in the Darkest Minds series.
This book was just as great as the first, but I do have to say it was pretty boring in the beginning, so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars rating.
  • Nov. 11th: Flirting with Boys by Hailey Abbott. It was a YA contemporary romance.
I thought this book was actually very cute and funny, but very childish and unrealistic. Which is why I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars rating.
  • Nov. 11th to Nov. 13th: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is the first book in a trilogy.
I actually didn't like this book too much. I thought most of it was boring, or repetitive. Though, I did enjoy the gore and action, and I also liked the writing style and idea. Therefore, I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating.
  • Nov. 14th to Nov. 16th: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. It is the second book in The Hunger Games trilogy.
I loved this book. I thought it was amazing, so much more than the first book. I loved the characters so much more, and also the plot was fantastic. I gave it a solid 5 out of 5 stars.
  • Nov. 19th to Nov. 20th: The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead. This book is the fourth book in the Bloodlines series, which is the sequel series to Vampire Academy.
Being as Bloodlines is my very favorite series ever, and this book totally rocked, I give it  5 out of 5 stars!
  • Nov. 22nd to Nov. 25th: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. This is the third, and final, book in The Hunger Games trilogy.
I seriously disliked this book. I thought it had no real plot. All of the characters were just annoying and shameful. Though, I did like the writing style, and the book did have a few good points. I gave it  3 out of 5 stars.
  • Nov. 25th to Nov. 26th: Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys by Kate Brian. This book was also a stand-alone YA Contemporary.
I actually loved this book, and thought it to be so cute, funny, and silly. But, since I hated the end, I gave it  4 out of 5 stars.
  • Nov. 29th: Wither by Lauren DeStefano. This book is the first in a Dystopia Trilogy.
I had been waiting to read this book forever, so I had high expectations, but it exceeded by expectations ten-fold, so I gave it  5 out of 5 stars!

So, I had a pretty good reading month, and I am hoping this month's reading is better!
