My thoughts on:The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

I'm in LOVE!
This book was glorious! I've never read anything quite like this book at all. I was going into this book with pretty high expectations, because one of my favorite authors loved it, and it completely met them!
The plot of this book was very simple, yet amazingly done. I was hooked from the very beginning. Every little scene was important, in its own way. Even though it was all really sweet, there was also a lot of deepness to it, because of the story it provides. Also, this book had perfect realistic properties. Like, this could just be something that happens to you or someone you know in the future. The whole book flowed together at a great pace. The uniqueness of the novel was so overwhelming, but in a good way. This book had everything a YA contemporary needs; romance, amazingly sweet characters, humor, happiness, sadness, and even a bit of surprise twists.
The characters were so...different, but awesome. Hadley, the main character, is so easy to connect with. I really felt her. She wasn't some perfect person. She had her faults, and she expressed them. But she was strong willed, and I really loved her humor and the way she reacts to people. I believe she is one of the best female leads for YA romance I've ever read about. Then, there was Oliver. First off...HE IS BRITISH. And that means perfection. He was so funny, yet he had a really closed-in side of him, which made you want to get to know him more. I really loved him, and I loved how real he was. The characters grew and matured a lot through the story, and I commend the author for that, because she did an excellent job with it.
So, I totally fell in love with this whole book. Every word was perfect, as well as the characters. I really recommend it to anyone who is in need of a quick, perfect romance read. Or, just to anyone who likes YA romance in general. I promise there will be no regret.
